The Center for Mental Health offers a range of 24-hour Crisis Services
for individuals in our communities who may be experiencing a self-defined behavioral health crisis.

Crisis Walk-In Center

Our Crisis Walk-In Center at 300 N. Cascade Avenue in Montrose is available 24/7/365 to serve people in crisis.

We offer a Walk-In Clinic, a Crisis Stabilization Unit, and Withdrawal Management.

Our Crisis Walk-In Center will not turn anyone away based on their ability to pay. Please come in and we will get you the services you need.

Mobile Crisis Response

The Center for Mental Health provides Mobile Crisis Response to residents of Delta, Gunnison, Montrose, Ouray, and Hinsdale counties. Anyone can request a Mobile Crisis Response to a behavioral health crisis by calling our 24/7 Crisis and Support Line at 970.252.6220. 

Our Mobile Crisis Team will be deployed to de-escalate and stabilize the situation. The on-site team will conduct an immediate crisis evaluation and connect the client to a Master’s level clinician available either in-person or via telehealth for a thorough assessment.  

After an on-site behavioral health assessment has been made, our team can either provide transportation to our Crisis Walk-In Center, a local hospital, other facility, or a make a follow-up care plan. 

A care plan may include a referral for additional services or psychiatric assessments, medication evaluation, peer support, case management or a safety plan depending on the situation. 

Our Mobile Crisis Response serves all individuals including children, adolescents, older adults, and those with developmental disabilities, regardless of their ability to pay, residency, or immigration status.

The Center Crisis and Support Line

Our 24/7/365 Crisis and Support Line is a free call-in behavioral health resource for people of all ages. Staffed by mental health professionals, the Crisis and Support Line is here when you are feeling stressed, anxious or concerned for your safety. We are here to help you get the help you need.
